At Wholehearted Academy, we believe that education should be a joyful, meaningful, and soul-nurturing journey. We are an alternative learning community designed to honour the whole child—mind, body, and spirit—through play, curiosity, and connection.
Born from a desire to offer something different, our academy is a space where children are free to explore, question, create, and thrive at their own pace. Rooted in nature and guided by curiosity, we weave farm and forest experiences with the BC curriculum, offering hands-on group classes, outdoor exploration, and community meetups. Inspired by the rhythms of nature and the inner rhythms of each child, we bring together project-based learning, social-emotional growth, and outdoor education to create a truly holistic and enriching experience.

We understand that homeschooling is a unique path—one filled with both freedom and responsibility. Our program is here to walk alongside independent homeschool families, offering guidance, structure, and enrichment while leaving space for the flexibility that homeschooling allows. We prioritize emotional well-being, helping children name their feelings, navigate big emotions, and build the interpersonal skills essential for lifelong success.

Our Environment
Our days are filled with stories, movement, nature walks, art-making, and deep conversations. You’ll often find us gathered under trees, journaling by the river, or building forts in the forest. We believe the best learning happens when children feel safe, inspired, and connected to something greater than themselves.
