Happy Fall! As we settle into a new season, we invite you to use this free Self-Portrait Activity!

This simple, guided resource is accessible to all levels and abilities. It aligns with the BC Curriculum and helps to foster personal identity and positive self-image. It allows learners to connect to their unique features and reflect on what makes them special. We encourage you to take out a mirror and spend some time discussing your face shape, skin tone, hair colour, etc. This can be a great opportunity to make connections about your family and what makes you similar and different to others.

The extensions are endless and we encourage you to see what arises from your conversations. Feel free to use any medium you desire when adding colour to your portrait; watercolour, pastels, markers, crayons, anything you choose will be beautiful. Once complete, feel free to share your portrait with us, the Wholehearted Community would LOVE to see it!
